Edna Johnson Will Trust assists Blind Veterans UK

Cheque presentation to Blind Veterans UK

Blind Veterans UK is the latest charity to benefit from a grant from the Edna Johnson Will Trust.

The trust, administered by three Gaby Hardwicke partners, was created by the late Edna Johnson, a former solicitor and longstanding client of the firm who left her entire estate in trust to help elderly people in East Sussex.

Trustees David Young, Richard Ostle and Antony Caulfield recently approved a £5,000 grant for Blind Veterans UK, which supports men and women who have served in the Armed Forces or undertaken National Service and now live with significant sight loss. Founded by Sir Arthur Pearson in 1915, the charity gives veterans much-needed support to adjust to sight loss, overcome the challenges of blindness and enjoy daily life.
