The Hastings & St Leonards Dementia Action Alliance is hosting a special ‘Working Together’ event for local businesses, organisations and community groups at the Hastings Centre on 13 November.
This free event will help attendees to understand how they can benefit themselves, people living with dementia and their carers via displays from a range of organisations. Gaby Hardwicke Partner Richard Ostle and Fellow of the Institute of Paralegals Rachel Cullip will be on hand to answer queries about our Care for the Elderly services.
The event, which runs until 8pm, starts at 4:45pm with registration and refreshments. This will be followed by a welcome from Pam Browne OBE, Vice Chair of the Dementia Action Alliance. The Mayor of Hastings will then open the event and present the Dementia Haven Plaque to Charles Sheldon of Age UK Sussex, which will be followed by talks from representatives from various organisations. Attendees will be treated to a buffet and entertainment.
