Lady Taverners’ Summer Luncheon raises thousands for charity

The GH party at the event

Gaby Hardwicke was delighted to sponsor this year’s Lady Taverners’ Summer Luncheon, which was held recently at the Grand Hotel in Eastbourne. The event raised several thousand pounds for the Lord’s Taverners charity through donations from the local business community.

Gaby Hardwicke’s Cara Sheppard, Hannah Bambury, Gemma Ritchie and Daniela Catuara attended the luncheon and hosted a party of clients and business contacts.

Laura Collins, Chair of Kent & East Sussex Lady Taverners, welcomed the luncheon’s 250 attendees and her husband, Master of Ceremonies Bob ‘The Cat’ Bevan MBE, kept everyone entertained throughout the afternoon.

The Lord’s Taverners is the official charity of UK recreational cricket and exists to ‘give young people, particularly those with special needs, a sporting chance’. It helps disadvantaged children to participate in a wide range of sports and leisure activities. For more information visit the Lord’s Taverners website.
