Opportunity to excel

We pursue excellence. We’re committed to your professional training and development and will offer you the opportunity to excel. The more you put in, the more you get out.

Many staff have benefited from our in-house training programmes and gained formal, recognised qualifications.

Room to grow

With three offices across four major East Sussex towns and a wide range of legal sectors, Gaby Hardwicke offers excellent potential for growth and progression throughout your career.

Since 2000 we’ve trained more than 30 solicitors; 25 stayed with us after qualifying, and seven of our partners trained with the firm.

Supportive environment

You’ll work in a supportive and friendly environment.
Each of our offices hold regular lunch & learn sessions – open to all staff, and there are four firm-wide staff social events each year.

More than 80% of the firm’s people have taken part in our lunch & learn programme.

Our Culture

At Gaby Hardwicke, our mission is to bring excellence, efficiency, integrity and personal commitment to everything we do – whether it be for our clients, or the firm and its staff.  We accomplish this through collective effort, with a deep sense of pride in who we are and what we do.

We promote a dynamic, inclusive and supportive working environment, with a strong commitment to professional development and wellbeing.  We want all our staff – those here now, as well as future generations – to be happy and to feel rewarded working at the firm: an environment where people stay and thrive.

We place a strong emphasis on our workplace culture, where we look to focus on key cornerstones:

  • Promotion of our vision and values
  • Good remuneration and holidays, and a comprehensive package of benefits
  • Clear and fair career progression
  • Strong but sympathetic leadership
  • A commitment to good communication, engagement and recognition
  • The delivery of focused training
  • Championing autonomy, equality and diversity and care and support

As a firm we believe we have a responsibility not only to our clients and each other, but also to the people in the communities where we are based. We look to make a positive impact through our community days and charity work. For more information on this, click here.
