In October 2020 we also published an update on the changes in the law in relation to commercial property – specifically in relation to the ability of landlords to forfeit leases and use the Commercial Rent Arrears Recovery (CRAR) procedure.
We reported that both measures had temporary legislation in place until 31 December 2020. Both measures have since been extended to 31 March 2021.
