St Michael’s Hospice is the latest charity to benefit from a grant from the Edna Johnson Will Trust.
The trust, administered by Gaby Hardwicke partners, was created by the late Edna Johnson, a former solicitor and longstanding client of the firm who left her entire estate in trust to help elderly people in East Sussex.
St Michael’s Hospice supports and enables the Hastings and Rother community to live well with dying, death and loss. The Hospice is heavily dependent on the generosity of local individuals, companies, groups and trusts. Did you know it costs £8.7 million a year to run St Michael’s Hospice? With the NHS covering less than one third of that amount, they must raise £6.3 million every year to continue to provide care. For more information click here.
