Gaby Hardwicke’s Big Hike team raises over £8,000 for Cancer Research UK

Work colleagues from Gaby Hardwicke successfully completed the Big Hike South Coast on 29 June, raising significant funds for Cancer Research.

Cancer Research UK is Gaby Hardwicke’s Charity of the Year, and the sponsored hike was a perfect opportunity to showcase the strong commitment and generosity of the firm’s clients, employees and their families and friends.  Overall, the team managed to raise over £8,000 through participation in both the half and full marathon hikes.

Managing Partner Jeremy Laws commented:  “This is the biggest fundraising event we’ve taken part in, and I am delighted it was such a success. We’re committed to increasing our contribution to local and national charities and are even more encouraged by the amount we’ve raised. I am very proud of each and every one our team members who took part.”

In their continued efforts to support Cancer Research UK this year, Gaby Hardwicke employees will also participate in a charity bake sale, a dress down day and of course the traditional donning of Christmas jumpers.  The commitment displayed by Gaby Hardwicke employees not only exemplifies their corporate social responsibility but also reinforces the power of collective effort in making a significant impact to the charity sector.
