Jessie Hansford

After growing up on the South Coast, Jessie read Law at the University of Reading and went on to achieve a Distinction in her Legal Practice course at the College of Law, London. She trained and worked in and around London for 10 years, qualifying in 2013. She joined Gaby Hardwicke in 2021.
Jessie has experience in a wide range of family matters including divorce, matrimonial finances, cohabitation disputes, pre and post-nuptial agreements and child arrangements. She also acts in contentious probate disputes including challenging / defending will validity and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 for reasonable financial provision.
Jessie prides herself on her personal, pragmatic approach and tact in the most sensitive of cases. Jessie is tenacious in achieving the best outcome for her clients, whether through negotiation, alternative dispute resolution or Court proceedings if necessary.
Outside work, Jessie plays badminton in local leagues and enjoys live music gigs and festivals. She is also passionate about sustainability and innovation within the legal industry.
