Richard Ostle

Richard is an honours graduate of Leeds University and has been with Gaby Hardwicke since 1998. He became a Partner in 2004 since which he has specialised in all aspects of Private Client work.
Based in the firm’s Hastings office, Richard heads up the high-net-worth private client team. He provides individuals and their families with a comprehensive, efficient and discreet private client service.
His clients include high net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners, family businesses, senior professionals, land owners and investors. He also works with trustees and executors who are responsible for managing and dealing with complex trusts and estates.
His expertise includes:

- Capital tax and estate planning
- Succession planning with business and agricultural assets
- Court of Protection issues
Richard finds practical solutions to meet his clients’ objectives in relation to tax efficiency, asset protection and succession planning. He collaborates extensively with other trusted advisers, including accountants, investment managers and independent financial advisers to provide his clients with comprehensive, well-thought-out guidance.
