Latest Appointments at Gaby Hardwicke

Gaby Hardwicke is pleased to announce their latest appointments within the firm with effect from 1 April.

Cathy Allen has been appointed as a Partner and Team Manager of Property Dispute Resolution, taking the total number of Partners to 16. Since joining Gaby Hardwicke in 2016, she has worked closely with Partner Jeremy Laws and taken the lead on property dispute resolution cases, an area of work that continues to expand.

Jessie Hansford and Rory McColl have been promoted to Senior Associate Solicitors and Team Managers in Bexhill and Hastings respectively. Both joined during the height of the covid pandemic and have since proved their commitment and dedication to the firm and its clients.

Jessie specialises in a wide range of family matters including divorce, matrimonial finances, cohabitation disputes, child arrangements and contentious probate disputes including challenging / defending Wills and applications under the Inheritance Act claims for reasonable financial provision.

Rory is an experienced residential property solicitor who deals with freehold sales and purchases, leasehold sales and purchases, Equity Release, Remortgages and Buy to Let, Auctions and New Build properties.

Joel Ballam has completed his training contract with the firm and been admitted to the roll of Solicitors. Joel qualifies into the Rural and Agricultural department, based in the firm’s Hastings office where he specialises in rural property matters, including woodland sales and purchases, agricultural land sales and purchases as well as refinancing working farms.
